Disney’s Blizzard Beach Attractions Part 1

From the four theme parks that the Disneyland Resorts, we move to the two water parks that the Disneyland resorts has to offer. First we take a look at Blizzard Beach where they feature one of the fastest free-falling waterslides. Here are the attractions to be found in Blizzard Beach:

Chair Lift – This is an amazing lift that transports to the Green slope area of the mountain namely Slush Gusher, Summit Plummet, Teamboat Springs. With its attractive wooden resort type chairlifts complete with umbrellas and Dangling Skis, it is surely a fun transport going to the top. Of course for kids below 32 inches they can take the stairs.

Toboggan Racers – If you feel a bit competitive, then the Toboggan Racers will surely make it more fun and enjoying. This is an 8 lane water slide race that us toboggan-style mats. You will cruise down Mount Gushmore on a length of 250 feet head first. Definitely a must try for the older kids, teens and adults.

Cross Country Creek – This lazy water raft ride goes through a continuously flowing stream going around the park. The inner tubes allow you to raise your feet up, and travels through cave like tunnels, waterfalls. This is another useful transportation to the other attractions of the park.

Tike’s Peak – For the little kids, The Tike’s area is for the kids who are less than four feet. From mini kiddie slides that can’t be as huge as the ones in Mt. Gushmore. There are shallow wading pools complete with pop-up water jets and a snow castle fountain.

Downhill Double Dipper – Another race type waterslide but it uses inner tubes. You feel like you are part of a downhill ski-race complete with a time tracker. Of course both slides equally open at the same time to have a fair race. The added challenge is travelling in pitch black darkness through a 50 foot high, 230 feet long slides racing at 25 miles per hour. Before you know it, you have already reached the end of it.

Teamboat Springs – This is perfect for the family as it is a raft ride six people. At a length of 1,200 feet, definitely you will go through tons of fun and laughter until the end of the journey.
